Exotic cars are a popular topic among car enthusiasts. Perhaps it’s the price? Perhaps it’s the scarcity?
No matter the factor, what we DO know is that these cars go fast. REALLY fast.
So what are some of the hotter exotic cars on the market right now?
1. Bugatti Veyron
Boasting 1001 horsepower, this machine is a wonder of human engineering. It’s able to accelerate from 0-60mph in a whopping 2.5 seconds! The top speed goes over 250+ mph. This limited-production machine retails at over $1 million. If you’re lucky enough to get one of these, just remember that the price will keep going up and up. Definitely not cheap, and definitely worth value and investing. In fact, the Bugatti Veyron is so fast, you need to use a key to “unlock” the top speed. The car needs to prepare to go at its top speed; otherwise, it will fly off the track! Definitely one of the best exotic cars to date.
2. Ferrari Enzo
Arguably one of the most beautiful exotic cars out there. Designed by Pininfarina. This baby isn’t cheap either! No wonder it’s not cheap, it’s a Ferrari! The first Ferrari to come with scissor doors as well. Ferrari was so impressed by the Enzo, it named it after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari. The original MSRP was $600,000 USD. It’s not surprising to see these go for $1 million to $2 million these days. The value is always going up since its release in 2003. Like the Veyron, this is also a limited production vehicle. It’s able to do 0-60 in a whopping 3.1 seconds!
3. Porsche Carrera GT
Probably the best looking Porsche to date. Another not so cheap exotic car - this car has an MSRP of $450,000. The drifting and handling on this car is amazing. The 0-60 acceleration time is 3.6 seconds. A fantastic exotic car from Germany!
Honorable Mention:
Chevrolet Corvette Z06
The Z06 Corvette is one of the best domestic cars out there. It may not necessarily be considered an exotic car, but it definitely ranks up there with the European exotic cars in terms of performance. The Z06 can do 0-60 mph in a whopping 3.7 seconds, beating out other well-known exotic cars like the Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago. Tune this baby up and you have one FAST car!
